Where...

Elizabeth Island is situated in Victoria's Westernport Bay, south east of French Island and north of Phillip Island, (Melways Map 612 Reference P10).

Elizabeth Island is accessible by a short boat ride (10 minutes to half an hour) from Corinella (see www.visitcorinella.com/) and Coronet Bay on the mainland, or Rhyll, San Remo and Cowes on Phillip Island. It is also accessible from the western side of the mainland, closer to Melbourne, from the Hastings marina by a longer boat ride (approximately half an hour).

Getting there...by the French Island Barge

Transfers to the island are available with the French Island Barge from Corinella.

The French Island barge also provides a vehicle transport service to Elizabeth Island, by advanced booking.

The barge is subject to restrictions at low tide, therefore landing is typically available within a 4-hour time span around high tide.

Transport prices will be provided on request.

Getting there...by boat

If coming in your own boat, Corinella is the closest mainland point, but Rhyll, San Remo and Coronet Bay are within easy reach, and reasonable access is also available from Hastings.

Most fishing boats can moor at the jetty at all times with the exception of about an hour or two either side of low tide. However, landing at low tide is possible by beaching either in the sand or near the rocks.
